NORTHERN FUNK PRESENTS TERRY CHRISTIAN Following the successful introduction of one of Manchester's most influential figures on the music scene – Phil Beckett – to the Northern Funk dj booth we are proud to present another key figure - Terry Christian on Friday 26th June. Terry has been a regular punter at Northern Funk and our sister night Funkademia since our original days at the Manchester Boardwalk and is inspired by the soulful sound we build our nights around (it is also worth noting that despite his celebrity status Terry has never once tried to blag the guest list). Perhaps more commonly known for fronting the anarchic youth TV show The Word and more recently for bringing a welcome sense of northern normality to the celebrity circus that is Big Brother it is Terry’s musical cv which has inspired us to sign him up for a one off stint on the One Central Street decks.
